General Questions

Frequently asked questions — a list of questions and answers intended to help you understand music distribution with DigitalPox. If you have any problems, consult the FAQs on our website.

For releasing your music through DigitalPox, your artwork must meet the following specifications:

  • Artwork / Inlays / Poster
  • Format: .jpg / .png only
  • Minimum Resolution: 3000 × 3000 pixels
  • No text, logos, or URLs on cover art (per platform policies)
  • Square format required (1:1 ratio)

To ensure your music sounds perfect on all platforms, please submit audio files with the following specifications:

  • Format: WAV or FLAC (lossless)
  • Sample Rate: 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz
  • Bit Depth: 16-bit or 24-bit
  • No clipping or distortion
  • MP3 at 320kbps also accepted

Once your release is submitted and approved, here is the typical distribution timeline:

  • Spotify & Apple Music: 24–48 hours
  • JioSaavn & Gaana: 2–4 business days
  • YouTube Music: 3–5 business days
  • Amazon Music: 3–7 business days
  • All other platforms: up to 7–14 days

We recommend submitting at least 2 weeks before your planned release date.

If your music receives a copyright claim on YouTube or other platforms, DigitalPox handles the dispute process on your behalf:

  • Submit a claim removal request via your dashboard
  • Our team reviews and files a counter-claim
  • Resolution typically takes 7–30 business days
  • Withheld revenue is released once claim is removed

Note: Only valid claims from artists we distribute are processed.

Please read these important notes before submitting your music:

  • Do not submit cover songs without proper licensing
  • Artificial streaming is strictly prohibited and can result in account termination
  • Ensure you own 100% rights to your submitted music
  • Royalties are paid monthly with a minimum threshold of ₹500

DigitalPox distributes your music to major CRBT (Caller Ring Back Tone) platforms in India:

  • Airtel Wynk Music
  • Jio CRBT (JioSaavn)
  • Vi (Vodafone Idea) Music
  • BSNL Tune

CRBT royalties are tracked and paid separately from streaming royalties.

Our Free Plan gives you access to essential distribution features at no cost:

  • 1 song release per month
  • Distribution to 150+ platforms
  • Keep 80% of your royalties

  • Standard support (48-hour response)

Upgrade to Standard or Premium for unlimited releases and 90–100% royalties.

Royalty reports are available directly in your DigitalPox dashboard:

  • Reports are updated monthly (by the 15th of each month)
  • Detailed breakdown per platform and per release
  • Download CSV/PDF reports for accounting
  • Payouts processed via Bank Transfer / UPI / PayPal
  • Minimum payout threshold: ₹500
