General Questions

Frequently asked questions — a list of questions and answers intended to help you understand music distribution with DigitalPox. If you have any problems, consult the FAQs on our website.

We only distribute songs for which you hold full rights. The following types of songs are NOT accepted for distribution:

✗Songs created fully or partially using AI (Artificial Intelligence)
✗Songs based on the melody, composition, or musical structure of any original song
✗Remix, Lofi, Slowed, Reverb, Mashup, Cover, Version, or any other altered form of an original song
✗Songs recorded during a Live Show, Stage Performance, or Concert
✗Any song for which you do not hold the copyright, master, or distribution rights

We only distribute the following types of songs:

  • Songs that are fully original and composed by you
  • Original songs inspired by Folk Songs but independently created with new lyrics, new melody, and new music, for which you hold all rights

Music Streaming Platforms:

  • JioSaavn, Amazon, Spotify, Meta (Facebook + Instagram + WhatsApp), Snap, TikTok, 7digital, iTunes/Apple Music, Tidal, Deezer, Pandora, Audible Magic, Anghami, Boomplay, YouTube Topic + YouTube Music, Mix Cloud, Awa, Jaxsta, Touchtunes, Napster, Netease, iHeart, Soundcloud, KKBox & more

Other Platforms:

  • YouTube, YouTube Content ID (Content ID is available only if the song has uniqueness), and YouTube Music

CRBT (Caller Tune) Platforms:

  • JioTunes — Caller Tune activates after 10k+ streams. Once the song is live on the platform, the caller tune becomes available within 45–84 days

Copyright claim removal is prioritized Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 5 PM.

  • Note: A copyright claim will only be removed from your main video (the primary video for the song). It will not be removed from any of your other channels.
  • If a removal request is sent during official hours (Monday–Friday), the claim is typically removed within 6–12 hours.
  • If sent on Saturday or Sunday, processing begins after 11 AM Monday and takes another 6–12 hours.
  • Claims are sometimes removed faster, but this does not mean every claim will be removed quickly — please plan around the standard 6–12 hour window.
  • Copyright claims cannot be processed for videos that are in Draft, Private, Scheduled, Premiere, or Deleted status. Please check your video's visibility status before sending the link and make sure it is set to Public or Unlisted.

Music distribution is processed Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 5 PM. Time taken for a song to go live/public on platforms: 48–72 hours.

  • Note: Going live typically takes 48–72 hours (if submitted during official hours)
  • If submitted between Friday and Sunday, the song will be processed on Monday and go live within 48–72 hours from Monday
  • Songs sometimes go live in less than 48–72 hours, but this does not mean every song will go live faster — please plan around the standard 48–72 hour window

The first royalty report is issued after 6 months, and every 3 months thereafter.

  • 70% royalty share (You / Label)
  • 30% royalty share (DigitalPox)

Note: The royalty percentage can be changed by mutual agreement depending on the maximum number of songs released per month.

If you send any content or request between Monday and Saturday, 11 AM to 8 PM, it will be processed by us within a minimum of 10 minutes and a maximum of 30 minutes. Any further time taken after that is on the platform's side — from our side, your work is already completed at that point.

Artwork / Inlays / Poster (Cover Art):

  • File format: .jpg / .png
  • Minimum resolution: 3000 × 3000 pixels
  • Format: .wav or .mp3
  • Sample rate: 44.1 kHz or higher
  • Bit depth: 16-bit or higher
  • Channels: Stereo (2-channel)
